On the afternoon of April 2, 2025, WANG Hongxiang, Deputy Director of the Constitution and Law Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), and HUANG Wei, Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, visited the China Maritime Arbitration Commission (hereinafter referred to as "CMAC") and held a symposium on the Arbitration Law of the People's Republic of China (Amendment Draft). YU Jianlong, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and CMAC accompanied the investigation and presided over the symposium.

The delegation visited the display area that shows CMAC’s history and outstanding achievements, and listened to LI Hu's introduction of CMAC, especially the improvement of the arbitration system, the arbitration mechanism and the innovation of arbitration rules.
