The Panel of Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Arbitrators (“Panel”), jointly established by the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province, the Department of Justice of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR, and the Secretariat for Administration and Justice of the Government of the Macao SAR, and reviewed and approved by the GBA Legal Departments Joint Conference, has been officially released. The Panel currently includes 147 arbitrators from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao.
CMAC Greater Bay Area Arbitration Center (South China Sub-Commission) (“CMAC GBA Arbitration Center”) has taken an in-depth part in the arbitrator recommendation for the Panel, and assisted with the advancing of the mutual recognition and sharing of arbitration talent across the GBA, and enriching the talent pool for international arbitration in the GBA.
The CMAC GBA Arbitration Center will continue to leverage its expertise in maritime and commercial arbitration, well-established arbitration rules and extensive international experience, to further participate in the innovation of commercial dispute resolution mechanisms in the GBA, and help the GBA steadily promote the internationalization of legal services and the competitiveness of the region.
